Bridget A. Shannon, O.D.

Dr. Bridget Shannon grew up in a family of eye care specialists. Her father was her inspiration and she followed in his footsteps to become an optometrist. Her mother was an optician working alongside him in a small town in East Texas. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in 1995, Dr. Shannon returned to DFW to open a practice and raise a family with her husband, Mark. She enjoys spending time with her 3 girls: Ashley, Sarah, and Maegan.

Dr. Shannon enjoys working within the local community. She regularly donates eyeglasses to the local Lions Club and one of her favorites is providing nurses at our surrounding schools with a “goody bag” filled with eye care products!

Dr. Shannon is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and North East Texas Optometric Association. She joined the Vision Source network in 2007 to elevate Shannon Vision Care to a premier practice and bring new technologies for medical care as well as eyeglass and contact lens designs.
